PT Bumitama Gunajaya Agro (BGA) Region 7B has once again demonstrated its corporate social responsibility (CSR) commitment through a program titled BGA Bina Desa in the Sei Jelayan area. This initiative is designed as a form of community empowerment focused on independent and sustainable village development.

The series of activities took place lively, involving active participation from local residents, village officials, and company management. Various social services were provided to the community, including free health check-ups, tree planting drives, and communal clean-ups of public facilities. Additionally, the event was enlivened by joint gymnastics, educational games for children and mothers, and a cheap basic food bazaar to help meet the residents' daily needs.

Regional Head of PT BGA Region 7B, Lukman S., expressed that this program is not just temporary aid, but the company's strategy to build solid collaboration with communities around its operations. He hopes this synergy will create a healthier, cleaner, and economically empowered village environment in the long run.

The event was also attended by village-level stakeholders, ranging from the Village Head, Chairman of BPD (Village Consultative Body), to the Chairman of the Dayak Customary Council (DAD). The presence of various elements, including medical personnel and plasma cooperative administrators, demonstrates the company's seriousness in integrating CSR programs with the real needs of the community in Sei Jelayan.
