The Central Bangka Regency Government is preparing to bring festivities to the community through the organization of the KOBALORASI #4 festival. This annual event, initiated by the Department of Industry, Trade, Cooperatives, and Small and Medium Enterprises (Disperindagkop-UKM), is held to commemorate the 172nd Anniversary of Koba City. The festival is scheduled to run for five days, from August 18 to 22, 2026, centered at Koba Town Square starting at 19:30 WIB.
With the theme "Koba, From Time to Time", this year's event aims to reflect on the historical journey and development of the Koba region over time. Through this momentum, the local government seeks to strengthen community togetherness while boosting the local creative economy sector.
Various interesting activities have been prepared to enliven the event, including an MSME Bazaar showcasing local flagship products, art and cultural performances, as well as carnivals and parades. In addition to entertainment, the festival also offers educational and health activities such as shared reading activities, healthy walks, mass gymnastics, and free health check services for visitors.
The entire series of events in KOBALORASI #4 is open to the public and can be enjoyed by all levels of society free of charge. The presence of this festival is expected to serve as a positive entertainment space as well as a catalyst for economic revival for micro-business actors in Central Bangka.
