The Secretary General of the Ministry of Defense (Sekjen Kemhan) of the Republic of Indonesia, Lt. Gen. Tri Budi Utomo, conducted a strategic working visit to Dodik Bela Negara Rindam V/Brawijaya, Malang, on Friday (3/7/2026). This visit was aimed at directly evaluating the implementation of the 2026 SPPI State Defense Briefing Program to ensure it remains professional and prioritizes the safety of participants.

During the meeting, the Secretary General received a comprehensive report on the curriculum, participants' health conditions, and infrastructure readiness from the Commander of Dodik Bela Negara. Responding to the presentation, the Secretary General gave strict instructions regarding the importance of proactive health monitoring, the implementation of the buddy system, and the standardization of environmental hygiene and consumption during the training.

After delivering his directions, the Secretary General of the MoD conducted a thorough inspection of the educational support facilities, ranging from classrooms and barracks to health and sanitation facilities. This step was taken to ensure that all available facilities meet feasibility standards to guarantee the comfort and health of the participants in the field.

In front of the participants, the Secretary General of the MoD emphasized that this briefing is a crucial foundation for building leadership character and integrity. The program is specifically designed to equip the managers of the Merah Putih Village/Ward Cooperatives and the Merah Putih Fishermen's Villages with a spirit of devotion and capable collaborative skills in supporting national development.

The visit concluded with the MoD's commitment to continuously make sustainable improvements to the program. With strict supervision and humanistic management, it is hoped that the entire training series can produce human resources that are resilient, adaptive, and highly dedicated to the spirit of state defense.
