Three Indonesian male rock climbers successfully achieved a proud milestone by securing their places in the speed event's round of 16 final at the World Climbing Series held in Chamonix, France, on Friday (10/7/2026).
According to official data from the International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC), Veddriq Leonardo secured sixth position in the qualification round. He recorded times of 4.86 seconds on Lane A and 4.899 seconds on Lane B, demonstrating consistent performance amid intense global competition.
Not to be outdone, Aditya Tri Syahria also put on an impressive performance by taking seventh place. Aditya posted times of 4.683 seconds on Lane A and 6.948 seconds on Lane B, carrying him smoothly into the round of 16 knockout stage.
Meanwhile, another Indonesian climber, Antasyafi Robby Al Hilmi, followed in his teammates' footsteps by securing ninth place. Antasyafi recorded times of 4.893 seconds on Lane B and 4.905 seconds on Lane A. However, the trio's success could not be matched by fellow Indonesian athlete Raharjati Nursamsa, whose journey ended in the qualification round.
