PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk (JSMR) is currently undergoing a paradigm shift in the toll road business, moving from a mere physical infrastructure provider toward the concept of infraculture. This change focuses on safety aspects and enhancing customer experience along the toll roads managed by the company.

President Director of Jasa Marga, Rivan A Purwantono, stated that this transformation reflects the company's commitment to wholeheartedly serving the public. By serving approximately 3.5 million vehicles every day, Jasa Marga places user satisfaction and safety as its top priority for every kilometer traveled.

To realize this vision, the company relies on a series of technological innovations, including the Over Dimension Over Load (ODOL) vehicle surveillance system, the Jasa Marga Tollroad Command Center (JMTC), and a digital ecosystem through the Travoy app. Additionally, the company is rejuvenating rest areas to function as tourist destinations rather than just brief stops for drivers.

Academician Mohammed Ali Berawi assessed that Jasa Marga's steps are on the right track in building a smart mobility ecosystem. According to him, the success of modern transportation systems relies on the synergy of three main pillars: hardware, software, and brainware, which must be integrated to meet contemporary demands.

Echoing this sentiment, business practitioner Rhenald Kasali highlighted the importance of adapting services to the behavior of a new generation of consumers who heavily rely on digital algorithms. He appreciated management's efforts to optimize existing digital assets to provide fast and accurate solutions for road users needing assistance on the ground.
