Jakarta-based musician Bilal Indrajaya successfully marked a sweet debut on the BRI Jazz Gunung Bromo 2026 stage. Performing on the first day of the festival held at the Jiwa Jawa Resort Bromo Amphitheater, Sukapura, Probolinggo Regency, on Friday (24/7/2026), Bilal managed to capture the attention of hundreds of music lovers who packed the stands.

Bilal's appearance was part of the "Before Sunset" session, a new concept designed by the organizers to present musical harmony set against the beauty of the sunset and the panoramic views of the Bromo mountains. Although the mountain breeze began to pierce the skin, warmth was instead created through the soloist's intimate interaction with the audience throughout the performance.

In this debut performance, Bilal performed a repertoire of ten of his signature songs. Popular tracks such as "NPT", "Dara", "Mustahil", "Saujana", to "Biar" flowed beautifully, entertaining the audience. The climax occurred when the song "Niscaya" was performed as the closer, triggering a mass sing-along from all corners of the amphitheater.

Met after the show, the singer, known for his warm vocal character, admitted he was deeply impressed by the atmosphere of the jazz concert, which has now entered its 18th edition. Bilal described his debut experience in three words: grand, warm, and classy. He also harbored hopes of returning to perform in future editions to introduce his latest works.

Bilal Indrajaya's performance was one of the main highlights on the first day of the festival, which runs until Saturday (25/7/2026). In addition to Bilal, the first day's stage was also enlivened by a lineup of other renowned performers such as Isyana Sarasvati, Batavia Collective, Ring of Fire Project in collaboration with Sri Hanuraga and Simone Prattico, Bromo Jazz Camp, and Plutato featuring Cait Lin.
