The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government is strengthening synergies with the private sector to optimize the funding of public transportation services. This strategic step is implemented through the expansion of naming rights schemes at several Transjakarta bus stops, aiming to increase non-fare box revenue.
The Governor of DKI Jakarta, Pramono Anung, revealed that his team is preparing six additional bus stops to offer to business actors. This policy is considered a vital instrument in building an independent and sustainable transportation ecosystem, while also fostering collaboration between the government and the business sector to advance urban infrastructure.
Pramono made the statement during the inauguration of the integrated facilities of Swadarma Paragon Bus Stop and RPTRA Bhineka on Thursday (9/7/2026). On that occasion, he emphasized the importance of private sector involvement through corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs, as demonstrated by PT Paragon Technology and Innovation at the bus stop.
To date, eight Transjakarta stops have successfully established partnerships through naming rights schemes, including Bundaran HI Astra, Senayan Bank DKI, and Widya Chandra Telkomsel. The future addition of six new locations is expected to maintain optimal public service quality without having to rely continuously on passenger fare revenues.
