MOROWALI – The South Bungku Sector Police (Polsek) has shown a concrete commitment to supporting the development of local community potential. This step has been realized through the construction and renovation of sports facilities located within the courtyard of the South Bungku Sector Police Headquarters in Morowali Regency.
This initiative was spearheaded directly by the Chief of South Bungku Sector Police and his officers. The police hope that the provision of these representative sports facilities will serve as a productive venue for the younger generation to hone their athletic talents, abilities, and skills.
In addition to serving as a means to boost youth achievement, the presence of these facilities is also designed to strengthen the partnership between the National Police (Polri) and the local community. The South Bungku Sector Police wish to demonstrate that the role of the police is not limited solely to maintaining public order and security (kamtibmas), but also extends to supporting social development and community building.
Currently, the sports facility project is entering its final finishing stages and is projected to be actively used by the public in the near future.
