PT Indosat Tbk. (ISAT) or Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison has officially completed a corporate action to monetize its fiber network assets with a transaction value reaching IDR 11.7 trillion. This move was executed through the divestment of a majority stake in PT Infra Fiber Teknologi (IFT), an independent fiber infrastructure platform created from a strategic partnership between the company and Arsari Group.
Arsari Group itself is known as a business entity owned by Hashim Djojohadikusumo. This asset transfer is part of the telecommunications issuer's long-term strategy to optimize capital structure while enhancing network operational efficiency across Indonesia.
Market analysts assess that the successful divestment provides a significant liquidity boost for the company. With an increasingly solid financial position, optimism has emerged among investors regarding the potential distribution of a special dividend. Dividend yield estimates are projected to range from 7.6% to 8.7%, reflecting the company's commitment to delivering value to shareholders following this major asset sale.
