The Gianyar Regency Police (Polres Gianyar) tightened regional security by conducting raids at several nightlife venues on Sunday (26/7/2026) night. This measure was carried out by the "Penyakit Masyarakat" (Pekat) Agung 2026 Operation Task Force to anticipate potential legal violations and maintain public order in the tourism area.

During the operation, joint officers inspected the identity documents of cafe managers and workers. In addition to checking identity cards (KTP), the police also carefully examined the legality of distribution permits for alcoholic beverages sold at each establishment to minimize the distribution of illegal alcohol.

Not only focusing on administrative checks, police personnel also applied a preventive approach. Officers conducted patrols around the nightlife areas and engaged in humanistic dialogues with business managers and visitors, urging them to actively participate in maintaining public security and order (kamtibmas).

Based on the monitoring results at the three main target locations, the police ensured that the situation remained safe and conducive. Until the operation ended, officers did not find any prominent violations, drug trafficking, or the sale of alcoholic beverages without official permits.
