The D3 Broadcasting Study Program of the Faculty of Communication Sciences (FIKOM) at Sahid University (USAHID) organized the "Campuz Takeover" event in collaboration with DOSS (Digital One Stop Solution) in Jakarta. This strategic step aims to equip students with practical skills aligned with the rapid development of today's digital creative industry.
During the event, a cooperation agreement was signed between both parties, followed by a demonstration of the latest cinematography equipment and a Canon Cinema workshop. This educational session featured Daddy Supriadi, a Canon Cinema product specialist, who provided deep insights into audiovisual production techniques and operational standards in the professional industry.
Dean of FIKOM Sahid University, Dr. Drs. Supriadi, M.Si., emphasized that partnerships with industry players are crucial to ensuring graduates do not just master theory in the classroom. According to him, students need real-world experience and professional networks to be able to immediately and adaptively contribute to the media and creative economy sectors upon graduation.
As a vocational study program that has achieved the "Unggul" (Excellent) accreditation, D3 Broadcasting USAHID designs a modern curriculum that includes artificial intelligence (AI) for broadcasting, scriptwriting, to podcast production. Graduates are equipped with three pillars of job readiness simultaneously: a formal degree, competency certification, and direct internship opportunities within creative industry networks.
To expand access to quality education, Sahid University also provides various scholarship pathways, including the Content Creator Scholarship, KJMU DKI Jakarta, and KIP-Kuliah. This program is designed to filter talented young minds from various backgrounds so they can develop their professional careers early on in the world of broadcasting and digital media.
