PT Cita Mineral Investindo Tbk. (CITA) was officially named the winner of the Metals & Minerals category at the prestigious 2026 Bisnis Indonesia Awards (BIA). The presentation of this recognition took place at the Raffles Hotel Ballroom, Jakarta, honoring the resilience of the bauxite mining issuer in maintaining business performance amid global market dynamics.
The Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority (OJK), Friderica Widyasari Dewi, emphasized that this year's award recipients are entities with very strong fundamentals. CITA's success was driven by impressive achievements throughout the 2025 fiscal year, where the company recorded net sales of IDR 2.69 trillion, representing a year-on-year growth of 12.58%.
The company's adaptation strategy was judged to be the main key to success, particularly the decision to fully shift to the domestic market since 2023 to comply with government regulations. This step was strengthened by a strategic partnership in the midstream processing business through PT Well Harvest Winning Alumina Refinery (WHW), positioning CITA as a central player in the national aluminum industry supply chain.
In addition to solid financial performance—reflected in a very low liability ratio of 0.04 times—CITA was also praised for its social commitment. The company was recognized for driving the local economy by building road infrastructure, supporting MSMEs, and improving the Developing Village Index around its mining operational areas.
CITA management representative, Rusmin Nuryadin, stated that this award serves as an incentive for the company to continue innovating in responsible natural resource management. The evaluation in BIA 2026 was conducted strictly by an independent board of judges, reviewing quantitative aspects of financial reports, implementation of environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG), and overall business innovation strength.
