Students from the Student Community Service (KKM) Group 67 of Universitas Bina Bangsa (UNIBA) initiated a healthy aerobics activity with the residents of Gunung Putri Village, Banjar District, Pandeglang Regency. The event, held on Sunday (26/7/2026), targeted mothers to campaign for the importance of maintaining physical fitness from an early age.
This public health work program was enthusiastically welcomed by local residents. Despite being held in the cool late afternoon, dozens of participants remained spirited in following every move guided by the aerobics instructor.
In addition to educating the public about healthy lifestyles through simple exercise, this agenda also served as an effective medium for community bonding. The presence of students among the residents is expected to strengthen social relations to support the smooth running of other community service programs in the village.
The Head of UNIBA KKM Group 67 explained that this activity was designed to build emotional closeness while encouraging residents to make exercise a daily routine. This step is in line with the commitment to the Tri Dharma (Three Pillars) of Higher Education, especially in the aspect of tangible community service.
Responding to the activity, the residents of Gunung Putri Village expressed their appreciation and hoped that similar programs could be held regularly. For them, besides being beneficial for physical health, this group exercise also serves as a refreshing recreation and social interaction venue on the weekend.
