Welcoming the commemoration of the 80th Bhayangkara Day, the South Tambun Sector Police (Polsek) held a series of social activities involving the active participation of residents on Saturday (4/7/2026). The event, which took place at the South Tambun Police Headquarters (Mapolsek), prioritized a humanistic approach through joint sports and a karaoke competition titled 'Suara Fals'.
This activity is not just an entertainment event, but rather an effort by the police institution to blend in and build more fluid communication with elements of the community. The Chief of South Tambun Police, Police Commissioner (Kompol) Wuryanti, emphasized that the presence of the National Police (Polri) among residents must be felt as a friendly partner to create a harmonious and safe environment.
"We want to build a warm space for friendship. Polri is not only present as law enforcers, but also as part of the community ready to collaborate in maintaining neighborhood order," said Kompol Wuryanti in her statement.
The residents' enthusiasm was evident with the presence of several community figures, including the Head of Tambun Village, Jaut Sarja Winata, and the Head of Lambangsari Village, Pipit Haryanti. The presence of these stakeholders shows full support for the Polsek's initiative in weaving bonds of brotherhood.
Pipit Haryanti expressed special appreciation for the creativity of this activity. According to her, a solid security foundation depends heavily on the emotional closeness between the authorities and the community. By breaking down formal barriers through art and sports activities, she believes that the sense of ownership over regional security will grow stronger.
