The Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) of Gunung Labuhan District, Way Kanan Regency, Lampung, has officially established a close collaboration with the local branch of the Indonesian Islamic Dawah Institute (PC LDII). This strategic step began with a formal gathering at the KUA Office on Thursday (30/7/2026).

The warm and familial meeting brought together the Head of Gunung Labuhan KUA, Ardores, and a representative from the Gunung Labuhan PC LDII, Hidayat. During the visit, the LDII representative presented a dawah magazine as a symbol of commitment to supporting government religious programs at the sub-district level.

The Head of Gunung Labuhan KUA, Ardores, appreciated LDII's proactive step in building two-way communication. He emphasized that partnerships between institutions under the Ministry of Religious Affairs and community organizations are crucial to the success of marriage counseling programs, the development of harmonious families (keluarga sakinah), and religious counseling for the broader public.

Meanwhile, Hidayat, representing the Gunung Labuhan PC LDII, stated that this visit is a concrete manifestation of the organization's contribution to supporting inter-communal harmony. The periodic presentation of religious publications is one of LDII's commitments to spreading a peaceful and tolerant message of Islam.

The meeting also opened up discussion on various collaboration opportunities in religious education and community empowerment. KUA and LDII agreed to continue working together to foster a religious, harmonious, and conducive society in Gunung Labuhan District.
