PT ANTAM (Persero) Tbk Kolaka Nickel Mining Business Unit (UBP) has taken a strategic step in building harmonious communication by organizing a joint sports activity. The event, which took place at Patepo Field, Kumoro Ward, Kolaka Regency, Southeast Sulawesi, involved elements of the TNI, Polri, and company employees.
The activity, which began with a light jog and was followed by various friendly matches, was designed as a forum for informal interaction. This step is expected to ease tension and improve cohesion between the company and the security forces in maintaining a safe and conducive operational environment.
CSR & ER Bureau Head of PT ANTAM, Bambang Tri Ariwibowo, emphasized that this initiative goes beyond mere physical fitness activities. According to him, the synergy built with the security forces is a vital asset that guarantees the smooth running of the company's business activities in the future.
"We are committed to continuing to nurture this collaborative relationship. Exercising together is an effective way to build mutual trust, which will ultimately have a positive impact on security stability around the company's operational areas," Bambang said in his statement.
Similar appreciation came from the security forces, including the Chief of Pomalaa Sectoral Police, Commander of Danramil 02 Wundulako, Kolaka Sub-Military Police Detachment, and National Vital Objects (Obvitnas) personnel in attendance. The security forces assessed that emotional proximity through community activities like this is highly helpful in minimizing coordination obstacles in the field.
