The transition process of Bandung Zoo's management to PT Faunaland, as the auction winner, is entering a crucial phase: business calculations. The Bandung City Government emphasized that although commercial aspects are entirely handed over to the winner, regulatory compliance remains a non-negotiable top priority.

Mayor of Bandung, Muhammad Farhan, stated that his administration is taking on the role of supervisor to ensure all agreements made by the new management operate within the applicable legal corridors. According to Farhan, the local government is intentionally refraining from technical intervention in the business sphere so that the process proceeds professionally and transparently.

High optimism is expressed by the Bandung City Government regarding the completion of this transition. Farhan targets the entire series of administrative and legal processes to be fully completed throughout July 2026. This confidence is grounded in the auction winner's cooperative stance, where PT Faunaland settled its annual contribution obligation of IDR 4.3 billion just two days after the winner announcement.

As a final step, the government is currently finalizing all administrative prerequisites that are state responsibilities. Once legal aspects and business interests are aligned, both parties are scheduled to sign the Cooperation Agreement (PKS) as the legal basis for Bandung Zoo's future operations.
