Approaching its 6th anniversary, Mahima Hotel Semarang demonstrated a deep commitment to environmental preservation through a greening initiative in the Puncak Suroloyo area of Mount Ungaran, Semarang Regency. The action, titled 'Sparkle for Earth' which took place on July 4, 2026, carried the theme 'Growing Tomorrow Together' as a form of corporate social responsibility towards the mountain ecosystem.
Cluster General Manager of Mahima Hotel, Lia Retno S. Hardini, revealed that this activity is an integral part of the celebration series themed 'Sparkle at Sixperience'. Through this action, the hotel aims to assert its position not just as an accommodation provider, but as an entity that makes a real contribution to forest conservation in the Semarang Regency area.
"This six-year journey has been full of challenges and achievements. We want to be pioneers in environmental conservation efforts while providing broad benefits to the surrounding community," Lia said in her statement.
In addition to environmental conservation efforts, the series of events for Mahima Hotel's 6th anniversary was also filled with various other constructive activities. These ranged from padel tournaments among employees, a six-kilometer 'Chill Miles Vol. 2' fun run in collaboration with the Duraking Run Club, to social actions such as blood donations and routine health checks for all hotel staff.
As a finale, the celebration series will conclude with 'The Great Experience' event, focused on appreciation for employees and reflection on the hotel's long journey in providing the best service to guests.
