PT Aneka Tambang Tbk. (ANTM) set the buyback price of gold bullion at a stable position of IDR 2,415,000 per gram on Sunday's trading (12/7/2026). This buyback price is uniform for all denominations and production years, referring to global standards and world gold price movements.
For investor information, a buyback transaction is a resale mechanism of precious metals, gold bullion, or jewelry back to Antam. Although the buyback price is generally lower than the current selling price, investors still have the opportunity to make a profit if there has been a significant appreciation in asset value since the initial purchase.
Please note that there is a tax obligation in this transaction in accordance with PMK No. 34/PMK.10/2017. For transaction amounts over IDR 10 million, Antam will directly deduct Income Tax (PPh 22). The deduction rate is set at 1.5 percent for taxpayers with a Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP), while non-NPWP holders are subject to a 3 percent rate.
In line with the implementation of PMK Number 112/PMK.03/2022, Antam now applies the integration of the Population Identification Number (NIK) as the Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP). Therefore, customers are advised to ensure the validity of population data and the completeness of identity documents before conducting transactions to ensure smooth tax administration processes.
