The Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) has officially established the entry quality threshold, or minimum scores, for the 2026 academic year. According to an announcement released on July 7, the campus in the Northern region (Hanoi) set a cutoff score of 20 points, while the Southern campus (Ho Chi Minh City) set a score of 16.5 points. These thresholds already include priority points for eligible candidates and regions.
The institute stated that for specialized programs, such as high-quality master's programs and the semiconductor integrated circuit field, details on minimum scores will be announced once the institute receives further guidance from the Ministry of Education and Training. For other admission tracks, scores will be converted according to a standardized table aligned with applicable ministry regulations.
This year, PTIT aims to enroll a total of 8,000 new students across its two main campuses. The selection process is conducted through five comprehensive methods: talent-based admission, international certificates, aptitude tests, high school graduation exam results, and a combination of English language certificates and academic transcripts.
As additional information for prospective students, for comparison, PTIT's admission cutoff scores in 2025 ranged from 21 to 26.21 points out of a total of 30 points. Meanwhile, the tuition fee structure at the institute varies depending on the chosen study program, ranging between 29.6 million and 62.5 million VND for regular to international joint programs.
