The Faculty of Science and Technology (Saintek) of UIN Prof. K.H. Saifuddin Zuhri (UIN Saizu) Purwokerto demonstrated its commitment to expanding academic partnerships at the national level. This was proven by the active participation of their delegation in the 2026 Forum of Deans of the Faculty of Science and Technology of State Islamic Religious Higher Education Institutions (PTKIN), which took place on July 16–19, 2026.
UIN Saizu's presence in this annual event is a strategic step to improve the quality of higher education and strengthen cross-institutional cooperation. Through this forum, the faculty aims to foster closer collaboration in research, technological innovation, and community service to meet the challenges of the times.
The delegation, led directly by the Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology of UIN Saizu, Prof. Kholid Mawardi, was also supported by Vice Dean I Dr. Fajar Hardoyono, Vice Dean II Dr. Warto, as well as lecturers and educational staff. The participation of this complete delegation team underscores UIN Saizu's seriousness in building a cooperation network with various PTKIN science and technology faculties across Indonesia.
Throughout the forum's agenda, participants formulated various key strategies related to institutional governance adaptive to information technology developments. Discussions also focused on developing curricula relevant to current labor market needs and implementing a more integrated three pillars of higher education (tridarma).
In addition to being a venue for scientific discussion, this meeting was also utilized to share best practices in faculty management and research culture development. The results of this forum are expected to generate tactical recommendations that can be directly applied to advance academic quality at UIN Saizu.
The Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology of UIN Saizu, Prof. Kholid Mawardi, expressed his highest appreciation to all delegates who participated actively. He emphasized that synergy between faculties within PTKIN is crucial in facing the continuously transforming dynamics of higher education.
