MAKASSAR — Universitas Muslim Indonesia (UMI) has reaffirmed its commitment to aligning technological progress with the strengthening of human character. Through the fourth edition of the UMIConnection program titled "Letter to the Future", this leading private university in Eastern Indonesia reminds that human values must remain the main pillar of civilizational development.
UMI emphasized that although technological disruption is inevitable, its utilization must always be balanced with ethics and morals. This step is in line with UMI's vision to produce an outstanding generation that not only masters the latest science and technology but also possesses strong moral integrity.
This moment of reflection also coincides with the upcoming 72nd anniversary or Milad of UMI. At its maturing age, the green campus continues to innovate in its learning systems to face increasingly complex global challenges in the future.
Along with this, UMI has also opened registration access for prospective new students for the 2026/2027 Academic Year. Through this admission program, UMI invites the younger generation to join and be prepared to become future leaders who are not only intellectually smart but also humanistic.
