Residents of Simpang Empat Subdistrict, Pekanbaru Kota District, took advantage of the recess visit by a member of the Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) of Riau Province, Sumardany Zirnata, to voice various important aspirations. This meeting became a space for the community to directly convey the development needs in their area.
One of the main points that became a warm discussion was the proposal for the structuring and revitalization of the area that has been the community's sports center. Residents hope that the public area can be better managed and made more representative to support physical activities and recreation for local residents.
Responding to these aspirations, the Riau DPRD legislator committed to overseeing this proposal so that it can be accommodated by the local government. This structuring step is considered crucial not only for sports facilities, but also to beautify Pekanbaru's city planning.
