Minister of Population and Family Development, who also serves as Head of BKKBN, Wihaji, has placed the issue of adolescent mental health as a national priority agenda. This was emphasized during the Q2 2026 Health Sector Policy Committee Coordination Meeting held at the BPJS Kesehatan headquarters.

At the forum, Wihaji stressed the importance of cross-sectoral synergy to address the psychological challenges currently faced by the younger generation. According to him, mental health is a crucial foundation for successful family development and the future quality of human resources.

The government is committed to strengthening preventive and promotive measures to ensure adolescents receive adequate support. Wihaji urged all relevant stakeholders to integrate mental health programs into various public policies so that their impact can be broadly felt by the community.
