The smooth execution and comfort of the congregation attending the National Dhikr and Prayer at the Monas Square, Central Jakarta, are the top priority. Ahead of the event scheduled for Saturday (August 1, 2026), the organizing committee has prepared various supporting facilities, including integrated health service posts.
Head of the Bureau of Public Relations, Data, and Information of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Thobib Al Asyhar, explained that these medical precautionary measures are part of thorough preparations to ensure the safety of the participants. The government wants to ensure that all congregants can worship in peace without worrying about emergency health issues.
In his statement in Jakarta on Thursday (July 30, 2026), Thobib revealed that the National Amil Zakat Agency (Baznas) also plays an important role by stationing eight ambulance units. In addition, 25 medical personnel consisting of doctors, nurses, and pharmacists are ready to provide quick response on-site if needed.
Aside from the health posts, the physical comfort of the congregation is also supported by the provision of free logistics. The committee has prepared at least 100,000 medium-sized bottles of mineral water and 100,000 bread packages. To maintain the cleanliness and beauty of Jakarta's iconic landmark, 75 sanitation volunteers will be deployed to work periodically in the Monas area.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs is also collaborating closely with various agencies to ensure conducive crowd management. Intensive coordination has been carried out with the Police, the Transportation Agency, the Jakarta Fire and Rescue Department (Damkar), and the management of the Monas area.
This large-scale religious event is held as a momentum for reflection and collective prayer for the unity and progress of Indonesia in anticipation of the 81st Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia. Attending citizens are urged to maintain public order and always follow the instructions of the committee on the ground.
