Comedian Gian Luigi expressed deep concern over the fate of dozens of Arjuna Bowling employees in West Jakarta who have been forced out of work. This situation was triggered by the sealing of the business premises by members of the GRIB Jaya mass organization (ormas), following an escalating land dispute.

In a message shared via his personal social media account, Gian highlighted the humanitarian impact of the action. He emphasized that land disputes involving two parties should be resolved through formal legal mechanisms, not through mass mobilization that ultimately harms innocent parties.

Gian claimed to have received reports that intimidation in the field had crossed reasonable boundaries. One incident he highlighted was the prohibition of employees from simply retrieving personal belongings, such as breast pumps, from inside the sealed area. To him, such actions undermine the function of mass organizations as partners supporting public order.

Furthermore, Gian urged the police to step in immediately as a mediator in this conflict. He hopes that law enforcement can ensure the situation at the location becomes conducive again so that business operations can resume and employees can exercise their right to make a living.

In closing, he issued a sharp rebuke, advising those involved in the land dispute not to seek profit by destroying other people's livelihoods. According to him, making money should not come at the expense of ordinary people who rely on the business sector.
