The Indonesian Renewal Youth Movement (AMPI) has begun stepping on the gas to map out a long-term political strategy ahead of the 2029 Elections. As a wing organization of the Golkar Party, AMPI is committed to positioning itself as the main engine for national leadership regeneration while expanding its support base among the younger generation.
General Chairman of the Central Executive Board (DPP) of AMPI, Jerry Sambuaga, emphasized the importance of young cadres not just being involved in internal party agendas, but also being able to make tangible contributions to society. He stated this while leading a social action involving the distribution of hundreds of basic food packages at the Golkar Party DPP Office in Jakarta, Sunday (28/6).
The event also implemented directives from the General Chairman of the Golkar Party, Bahlil Lahadalia, who wishes for the party headquarters to transform into an activity center that benefits surrounding residents. Jerry mentioned that this step represents AMPI's swift response in aligning its social vision with the organization's political agenda.
Furthermore, Jerry reaffirmed that AMPI will continue to serve as an inclusive platform for young people to learn and engage in the political sphere. By promoting a progressive approach, AMPI aims to foster future leaders who can address national challenges with concrete solutions and strong social concern.
This solidarity action received a warm welcome from local residents. Dedeh, a resident of Kemanggisan, West Jakarta, expressed her appreciation for the attention shown by AMPI. For her, the presence of youth organizations in social activities like this demonstrates a real closeness between political parties and ordinary people.
