To anticipate criminal acts and maintain public order, the Banyumas City Police (Polresta Banyumas) continues to intensify its humanistic approach in various public spaces. One such effort was carried out by the Community Policing Officer (Bhabinkamtibmas) of the South Purwokerto Sector Police, Aiptu M. Ali Imron, who visited the Orion Futsal sports arena in Karangklesem Village, South Purwokerto District, Banyumas Regency.
During the interactive patrol, the police personnel interacted directly with the facility management, security guards, and visitors. This step was taken to strengthen the strategic partnership between law enforcement and community elements in maintaining the peace of the surrounding environment.
Aiptu M. Ali Imron urged all parties to increase vigilance against the potential for motor vehicle theft (curanmor) in the parking area. He emphasized the importance of ensuring that vehicles are securely locked and using double locks to minimize opportunities for criminals.
In addition to focusing on vehicle security, the police also reminded visitors to be more careful in guarding their personal belongings and to always uphold sportsmanship while exercising. If members of the public encounter any security disturbances or criminal acts, they are urged to immediately contact the Indonesian National Police (Polri) call center at 110 or report to the nearest police station.
Meanwhile, the Chief of Banyumas City Police, Police Grand Commissioner Petrus P. Silalahi, through the Chief of South Purwokerto Sector Police, Police Commissioner Puji Nurochman, emphasized that the active presence of the police in the community is a crucial preventive measure. Interactive patrols like this are considered effective for educating citizens while providing a sense of safety in public areas.
