Apple is reportedly undergoing a comprehensive overhaul of the internal design for the iPhone Air 2 series. This re-engineering step is taken as a responsive effort by the company to address various user feedback regarding battery performance and camera capabilities of its predecessor.
According to the latest leaks from Digital Chat Station, the iPhone Air 2 is predicted to feature a more capable dual rear camera configuration, combining a 48-megapixel main lens with an ultrawide lens. This upgrade aims to provide users with broader photographic flexibility.
In terms of battery life, Apple is rumored to equip the device with a battery capacity of around 3,500 mAh, a significant increase compared to the previous version which only had a capacity of 3,149 mAh. This increase is made possible by internal space efficiency achieved through the integration of new display technology.
The fourth update lies in the use of Samsung's OLED Color Filter on Encapsulation (CoE) panel technology. This innovation allows color filters to be applied directly onto the encapsulation layer, creating a much thinner and space-saving display module without sacrificing the ultra-thin design aesthetics that define the iPhone Air lineup.
