Mount Semeru once again showed a significant increase in volcanic activity on Saturday (4/7/2026). According to the latest reports, the highest volcano on the island of Java was recorded to have erupted eleven times within a span of just six hours.
This natural phenomenon occurred shortly after similar activity was reported at Mount Anak Krakatau. This series of eruptions serves as a reminder for local residents to continue monitoring the situation and follow official instructions from the authorities.
