SLAWI - A member of the Tegal Regency General Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu), Dedi Kusdiyanto, reminded his staff to always maintain a balance between work performance and personal health. In his address while leading the morning assembly on Monday (27/7/2026), he emphasized that success in completing institutional tasks must be accompanied by the ability to manage stress independently.
Dedi, who serves as the Coordinator of the Division of Violation Handling, Data, and Information, appreciated the performance improvement of the Tegal Regency Bawaslu Secretariat, which has shown a positive trend compared to previous years. He noted that this achievement was due to synergy, effective communication, and the commitment shown by all staff in overseeing the democratic process at the regional level.
However, he cautioned that a dynamic workload should not trigger burnout or excessive pressure. Dedi explained the importance of understanding the regulation of body hormones, such as dopamine, which triggers motivation and happiness, and cortisol, which arises from stress. The balance of these two hormones is considered crucial to keeping work productivity optimal and preventing burnout in the office environment.
Through this routine morning assembly, the Tegal Regency Bawaslu is committed to continuing to foster a healthy, conducive, and collaborative workspace. With a supportive work environment, all staff are expected to deliver the best public service and maintain supervisory integrity without neglecting their physical and mental health.
