PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Sulawesi Tenggara (Bank Sultra) successfully achieved a brilliant accomplishment by winning an award at the Bisnis Indonesia Awards (BIA) 2026. The pride of the people of Southeast Sulawesi was named the leading regional development bank in the category of assets under IDR 20 trillion, during the awarding night held at the Raffles Hotel, Jakarta, on Thursday (July 2, 2026).
The award was presented directly by the leadership of the Bisnis Indonesia Group, namely Commissioner Dorothea Samola and Managing Director Hery Trianto, to the President Director of Bank Sultra, Andi Permana Diputra Abubakar. This appreciation was awarded following a rigorous judging process by economic experts, including Raden Pardede as chairman of the board of judges, who evaluated the company's financial performance during the period from 2023 to 2025 under the theme 'Where Growth Meets Strength'.
Bank Sultra's superiority lies in its financial resilience, which was assessed to be stronger compared to similar banks. According to official reports, the company successfully posted a net profit of IDR 419.6 billion in 2025. This achievement continues the company's positive trend, which has cumulatively recorded a profit surge of up to 61.38% since 2020.
In addition to financial performance, Bank Sultra also recorded stable asset growth, reaching IDR 14.81 trillion at the end of 2025. This achievement was supported by credit expansion, which increased to IDR 9.58 trillion. On the other hand, the company's digital transformation also showed impressive results, with the usage of Bank Sultra Mobile services growing by 28.02% and the frequency of QRIS transactions soaring by 1,371.73%.
The Bisnis Indonesia Awards itself is an annual event that has entered its 24th year. This year, awards were given to 52 banking and non-banking issuers, as well as several other selected figures and companies deemed successful in maintaining solid business growth amidst national economic challenges.
