The Regional Government of North Bolaang Mongondow (Boltara) has officially commenced the series of celebrations for the 81st Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia at the Bintauna District level. The official start was marked by the opening of the Sports and Arts Week (Porseni) by the Regent of Boltara, Dr. Sirajudin Lasena, SE., M.Ec.Dev, at Inomasa Field on Monday (27/7).

This annual sports and arts festival features competitions in various branches, participated in by contingents from all villages across the Bintauna District. Through this event, the community is expected to channel their interests and talents in a healthy competition over the next few days.

In his speech, Regent Sirajudin emphasized that Porseni is not just a competition to win titles. The event serves as a strategic means to strengthen community ties, foster sportsmanship, and instill nationalistic values concretely through productive activities.

In addition to being a unifying event, Sirajudin also hopes that this Porseni can produce high-performing athletes and artists. The local government reaffirmed its commitment to continuously support youth development so that local potential from Bintauna can compete at the district to national levels.

The opening ceremony took place in a lively atmosphere, attended by the Assistant to the Regional Secretary, heads of the Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD), the Head of Bintauna District, Sangadis (village heads), as well as hundreds of residents who crowded the field area.
