Institut Prima Bangsa (IPB) Cirebon has once again demonstrated its commitment to producing young entrepreneurs by holding the UMKM Day 2026 event on Saturday (11/7/2026). A total of 78 student groups crowded the exhibition area to showcase and market various innovative products of their own creation.

This annual event is a concrete manifestation of the Technopreneurship course. Through this practical program, students are not only equipped with theory in the classroom, but are also challenged to directly practice the entire business cycle, starting from idea formulation, budgeting, production processes, to direct marketing strategies to consumers.

The event was officially opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony by the Vice Rector for Student Affairs and Cooperation of IPB Cirebon, Dr. Ade Sastrawijaya. In addition to the student product exhibition covering the culinary, technology, and creative industry sectors, this activity was also enlivened by an interactive talk show with the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association (HIPMI) of Cirebon City as well as student art performances.

The lecturer of the Technopreneurship course, Dr. Weti Kurniawati, explained that each group is required to create at least one flagship product. This step is designed so that students can comprehensively experience the dynamics of the real business world during college.

The organization of this year's UMKM Day is considered to have experienced a significant increase in quality, in terms of preparation, orderliness, and participant enthusiasm. The campus hopes that this routine activity can consistently continue to produce graduates who are innovative, independent, and ready to create new jobs in the future.
