The Lhokseumawe City Health Office (Dinkes) has begun stepping up efforts to monitor hygiene standards in the micro, small, and medium enterprise (SME) sector. This step was implemented through Environmental Health Inspections (IKL) targeting several business locations in Muara Dua District and Blang Mangat District on Monday (13/7).
The supervisory activity focused on directly reviewing the condition of business operators' production areas. A team from the Health Office conducted in-depth verifications to ensure that every stage of product processing complies with applicable health protocols and sanitation standards to guarantee consumption safety for the public.
This inspection is part of the local government's commitment to maintaining the quality of local products while raising business operators' awareness of the importance of maintaining a hygienic working environment. This proactive effort is expected to reduce potential health risks that may arise from a lack of sanitation in household-scale industrial environments.
