The Tangerang City Government through the Department of Culture and Tourism (Disbudpar) has announced the schedule for the grand event Cisadane Festival 2026, which will run for five days from July 22 to 26, 2026. This annual event is projected to be the center of public attention, offering a series of activities combining entertainment, sports, and local economic empowerment along the Cisadane River area.
Head of the Tangerang City Culture and Tourism Department, Boyke Urif Hermawan, emphasized that this festival is not merely an entertainment event, but a strategic showcase to promote the region's tourism potential and creative economy. Through this event, micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) are expected to expand their market reach to visitors attending the venue.
The opening ceremony will be highlighted by a series of exciting attractions such as Eskoda performances, Flying Jet Dance, Liong (dragon dance) displays, fire circuses, and a kayak exhibition along the Cisadane River. The entire series of events will conclude with a fireworks display and a stunning lighting show as the climax of the celebration.
In addition to offering arts and cultural entertainment, visitors can also witness challenging Dragon Boat competitions and performances by cross-genre musicians, including Feel Koplo, Samsaka, Zziepross, and various other local bands. The festival stage will serve as an expressive space for art communities to present modern dance routines and musical performances from morning to night.
The city government invites all members of the public to join in the festivities with their families. Besides enjoying all performances free of charge, visitors will also benefit from easy access to explore various culinary specialties and featured local products along the iconic Cisadane River area throughout the duration of the festival.
