The Quick Action Forces Command (Korpasgat) contingent successfully delivered an impressive performance at the 2026 Air Force Sports Week (PORAU). The prestigious event held at the Air Force Headquarters in Cilangkap officially concluded on Thursday (02/07/2026), placing Korpasgat athletes on the top podium across various competition events.
Korpasgat's dominance was clearly evident in Modern Pentathlon Indonesia (MPI) and men's volleyball, where the teams secured 1st place after fierce competition leading up to the finals. This success complemented their dominance in shooting, which served as a major medal mine for the contingent.
In the shooting discipline, Korpasgat swept 1st place titles in the 25-meter performance pistol event for both team and individual categories. Additionally, they dominated the 20-meter executive pistol category and the 100-meter target ring rifle shooting in three positions, across both performance and executive categories.
Korpasgat Chief of Staff, Air Vice Marshal TNI Anis Nurwayudi, expressed his highest appreciation to all athletes, coaches, and officials for their hard work. He emphasized that this achievement is the result of consistent training development and a strong fighting spirit demonstrated on the field.
