PT Semen Padang officially reached its 68th anniversary since the operational takeover of the company. As part of celebrating this historic momentum, the company held a knowledge-sharing session titled Leading Transformation: Membangun Daya Saing dan Keberlanjutan Industri Semen Nasional at Wisma Indarung, Padang, on Monday (6/7/2026).
Attending as the main keynote speaker, Prof. Dwi Soetjipto explained that conventional leadership models are no longer relevant amid the rapid pace of automation, artificial intelligence, and global geopolitical uncertainty. He emphasized the importance of the Co-Alignment Framework as a method to balance operational efficiency with long-term innovation exploration.
"A leader must be able to navigate internal obstacles, including organizational politics dynamics and information limitations. The success of transformation heavily relies on the ability to build an adaptive corporate culture with a solid strategic vision," said the figure who also once helmed PT Semen Padang.
President Director of PT Semen Padang, Pri Gustari Akbar, stated that Dwi Soetjipto's presence served as a catalyst for all company personnel to enrich their managerial insight. He also outlined the company's operational performance achievements in Semester I-2026, which remained resilient in serving infrastructure needs across the Sumatra region while strengthening synergy through the Inter Company Sales (ICS) scheme under the SIG Group.
Echoing this sentiment, President Director of PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG), Indrieffouny Indra, appreciated the knowledge-sharing initiative. He expressed hope that the strategic insights from the national figure would inspire all subsidiaries within SIG to continuously enhance human resource capabilities to safeguard future business sustainability.
