The Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) at UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung officially celebrated two decades of its journey through a lively Grand Reunion held at the Anwar Musaddad Building on Saturday (4/7/2026). Carrying the theme "Gathering the Scattered, Building Impactful Collaboration", this event served as a crucial momentum to unite thousands of alumni spread across various professional sectors.

The Chairman of IKA FST, Dian Nuraiman, stated that this event was not merely a nostalgic gathering, but a strategic step to consolidate alumni potential. Since its establishment in 2006, FST has produced 4,822 graduates from various disciplines, ranging from engineering to pure sciences. On this occasion, the faculty launched the FST Alumni Portal (www.ikafst.uinsgd.ac.id) as an integrated database to map career networks and future collaboration opportunities.

The Dean of FST, Prof. Dr. Hj. Hasniah Aliah, emphasized that the development of the faculty, which now boasts nine study programs and superior accreditation, is the result of collective hard work. She also highlighted FST's achievement in securing a leading position within the State Islamic Religious Higher Education (PTKIN) network in obtaining patents, as well as the implementation of the Integrity Zone towards a Corruption-Free Area.

As a concrete commitment to their alma mater, IKA FST now officially manages the Interest-Free Tuition Fee Loan (PUTRI) program. This program is designed to assist students facing financial difficulties with their education costs, which over the last eight semesters has distributed up to IDR 690 million in aid to hundreds of students. This step further reinforces the role of alumni as strategic partners in developing the quality of education at UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung.
