JAKARTA — The Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), Nanik Sudaryati Deyang, has decided to step down from her position. This resignation was chosen by Nanik to prioritize her health recovery.
The news of the resignation was confirmed by the Special Assistant to the President for Communication and Policy, Dirgayuza Setiawan. This official statement also addresses the leadership dynamics within the institution focused on improving public nutrition.
Before this announcement, Nanik was seen visiting the Presidential Palace Complex in Jakarta on Thursday (11/6/2026). As of now, the government has not announced a replacement to take over the leadership of the National Nutrition Agency.
