Tasik Madu Beach in the Lovina area, North Bali, looked vibrant as the Lovina Cross Country 2026 cross-country sports event officially kicked off on Sunday (26/7/2026) morning. The Regent and Deputy Regent of Buleleng officially flagged off the participants at the starting line, marking the commencement of one of the main agendas in the Lovina Festival 2026 series.

The excitement of the event was also supported by strong cross-sector synergy, including the active presence of the Buleleng District Government and the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda). The presence of police, military, prosecution, and judicial elements on the honorary stage symbolized collaboration in ensuring the smooth running of this sport tourism event.

In addition to being a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts, this event proved effective in attracting both domestic and foreign tourists. The positive impact was directly felt by the local community, particularly through increased occupancy of tourist accommodation and a boost in transactions for local micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
