PT Isuzu Astra Motor Indonesia (IAMI) has once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting the national business sector through its participation in the GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026. In this prestigious automotive exhibition, Isuzu presents a versatile commercial vehicle concept that is not only reliable for conventional logistics needs, but also adaptive to the development of the country's creative industry.
To prove the flexibility of its commercial fleet, the Japanese automotive manufacturer is showcasing various specially modified vehicle variants. Some models attracting visitor attention include the Giga FVR Road Sweeper, the Elf NLR campervan, and the Traga with a Salon Studio concept. Additionally, the D-Max with a versatile concept and the tough sport utility vehicle (SUV) Isuzu MU-X are also present.
Beyond showcasing the product lineup, IAMI also provides an interactive experience for visitors at their booth. Visitors have the opportunity to experience firsthand the performance of the Isuzu Traga AC, which has been integrated with the Isuzu Link feature, and test the reliability of the Isuzu MU-X through a test drive facility. Isuzu also provides various game simulators, aftersales education, and an artificial intelligence (AI)-based photo booth to strengthen interaction with consumers.
President Director of PT IAMI, Masayasu Hideshima, emphasized that the flexibility of Isuzu's fleet is designed to be able to transform into productive mobile business facilities. Through this innovation, commercial vehicles are no longer viewed merely as means of goods transportation, but as strategic investment instruments capable of driving efficiency and growth in various industrial sectors in Indonesia.
