Chinese global electronics manufacturer Hisense officially launched a line of cutting-edge display technology and a smart home ecosystem to celebrate the 2026 World Cup. As a main sponsor of the tournament, the Qingdao-based company is utilizing the global stage to introduce a lineup of flagship products specifically designed to enhance the visual comfort of football fans.
One of the main breakthroughs presented is the integration of Dolby Vision 2 technology into its premium television line, making it the first brand in the world to adopt the standard globally. This visual quality enhancement is complemented by RGB MiniLED technology, which allows independent control of red, green, and blue light sources to achieve optimal color accuracy and screen brightness levels, especially on large-sized devices.
Hisense's dominance in the global market is further strengthened by research data from Omdia, which ranks the company as the market leader in televisions sized 100 inches and above from 2023 through the first quarter of 2026. As part of this lineup of innovations, Hisense also introduced the UR9 RGB MiniLED TV series, L9Q Laser TV, as well as a range of smart home appliances such as the PureFlat refrigerator and Air Master air conditioner.
Regional Marketing Director of Hisense Middle East & Africa, Fazalur Rahman, stated that the 2026 World Cup serves as a strategic momentum for the company to connect advanced stadium technology into the comfort of households. Through the 'Hisense Suite' ecosystem, users can now integrate various electronic devices, ranging from kitchen management to room climate control, using integrated artificial intelligence (AI)-based connectivity.
