The Bekasi Regency Government has reaffirmed its commitment to providing health insurance protection for the entire community. This concrete step was realized through the signing of a cooperation addendum with BPJS Kesehatan, aimed at maintaining and increasing the coverage of Universal Health Coverage (UHC) participation in the region.

To date, the UHC achievement in Bekasi Regency has reached an impressive 99.6 percent. This figure reflects the local government's success in integrating the national health insurance program to ensure it is accessible to almost all levels of society in an equitable and sustainable manner.

This agreement addendum serves as a legal foundation for both parties to continue strengthening coordination, particularly in updating membership data and optimizing medical services at healthcare facilities. This synergistic step is expected to minimize technical obstacles in the field, allowing residents to enjoy healthcare services without significant administrative hurdles.

The Bekasi Regency Government emphasized that health insurance is a basic right of citizens that must be prioritized. With the support of BPJS Kesehatan, the Bekasi Regency Government strives to keep the membership ratio high while continuously evaluating the effectiveness of services to ensure every citizen has access to quality and affordable treatment.
