The Tangerang City Government emphasized that the Free Health Check (CKG) program does not stop at the early detection stage. This initiative is designed as an initial gateway to provide access to comprehensive healthcare services for all residents identified with risk factors or specific medical histories.
Head of the Tangerang City Health Office, dr. Dini Anggraeni, explained that the screening results in the CKG program will serve as a reference for the medical team to determine subsequent treatment steps. The follow-up provided is highly varied, ranging from supporting examinations, routine medical treatment, to nutritional counseling and healthy lifestyle education.
"For residents diagnosed with diseases such as diabetes or hypertension, they can immediately access services at the community health centers (puskesmas) to receive ongoing treatment. Our focus is to control these risk factors so that patients' health conditions remain maintained and serious complications are avoided," said dr. Dini, Tuesday (7/7/26).
She added that this strategy is a preventive effort by the local government to improve long-term public health standards. Through an approach tailored to each individual's medical condition, the Tangerang City Health Office is committed to ensuring every resident receives swift and targeted intervention.
The Tangerang City Government also urges the entire community to take advantage of the CKG facilities available at local community health centers. In addition to being free of charge, the integration of services from screening to treatment is expected to create more effective early detection for residents.
