Police officers from the Silat Hulu Sector Police, Kapuas Hulu Police Department, were deployed to guard a public entertainment event held in Nanga Dangkan Village, Silat Hulu District, on Monday evening (7/6/2026). This step was taken as a preventive effort by the police to guarantee public safety and comfort during the event.
The security team, led by Aiptu Mora Darma Sinaga alongside Aiptu Tugur P, Bripka Derry Wardi, and Briptu Imanuel, promptly managed the smooth flow of the event. Before the entertainment began, officers issued a series of public security and order (kamtibmas) advisories to the crowd gathering at the venue.
In his address, Aiptu Mora Darma Sinaga reminded residents to maintain order and remain vigilant regarding potential traffic congestion around the event site. He invited all members of the community to actively participate in maintaining a conducive atmosphere until the event concluded.
Kapuas Hulu Police Chief, AKBP Roberto Apriyanto Uda, S.I.K., M.H., through Silat Hulu Police Chief, AKP Jaspian, emphasized that police presence at mass gatherings is a testament to the institution's commitment to protecting the public. The presence of officers on the ground is expected to minimize potential security disruptions.
"The presence of National Police personnel among the community aims to ensure that this event runs smoothly and provides a sense of security for spectators. We want to ensure that the situation within the jurisdiction of the Silat Hulu Police remains conducive," concluded AKP Jaspian.
