The excitement of the 50th North Sumatra Fair (PRSU) in Medan reached its peak entering early July 2026. On its second night, Saturday (July 4, 2026), the main stage at Tapian Daya, Gatot Subroto Street, successfully mesmerized thousands of spectators with a stunning performance by legendary Bandung-based rock band, /rif.

Vocalist Andy and the rest of the band brought the audience on a nostalgic journey with a lineup of their hit songs such as 'Radja' and 'Loe Toe Ye'. Prior to the headlining act, the visitors' enthusiasm had already been built up by performances from Medan's pride, Mahameru and Kapten Hook, who enriched the night's show.

This year's PRSU organizers are clearly serious about developing their entertainment concept by fusing modern elements with local wisdom. A more aesthetic and neatly organized spatial transformation has become a major draw, keeping the area packed with visitors from various regions across North Sumatra.

The entertainment lineup will continue through August, featuring a roster of top national artists such as Maliq & D'Essentials, Ghea Indrawari, and Kangen Band. Beyond music concerts, the event also provides a platform for local artists and creative industry players to showcase their talents during the festival.

With a comprehensive exhibition concept ranging from culinary specialties to cultural promotion, the 50th PRSU has transformed into a more comfortable and relevant family tourist destination. Members of the public wishing to enjoy the series of shows and exhibitions can attend directly at the venue to experience spectacular entertainment in the heart of Medan.
