WEST TULANG BAWANG – The Finance and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) Representative of Lampung Province has tightened supervision over the construction project of the West Tulang Bawang (Tubaba) Regional General Hospital (RSUD). This step is taken to ensure that the strategic health project runs according to plan and is free from budget deviations.

The Head of the Lampung Province BPKP Representative, Agus Setyawan, along with a team of auditors, accompanied the Acting Regent of West Tulang Bawang, Novriwan Jaya, to directly inspect the physical progress on-site. This working visit focused on monitoring construction quality, completion timeliness, and administrative transparency of the hospital building's construction.

This flagship project is funded by the Indonesian Ministry of Health through the 2026 Fiscal Year Budget Implementation List (DIPA) of the Directorate General of Health Services. With a total investment value reaching Rp128 billion, this medical facility is targeted to be completed and ready for operation by the end of 2026.

The Regent of Tubaba, Novriwan Jaya, expressed appreciation for the strong collaboration between the Ministry of Health, BPKP Lampung, and all involved elements. According to him, the presence of the external supervisory team is crucial so that the physical construction of the hospital aligns with established quality standards.

The presence of the new Tubaba Regional Hospital is expected to improve accessibility and the quality of medical services for the local community. With more complete and modern facilities, the local government is optimistic that the quality of healthcare services in West Tulang Bawang Regency will improve significantly.
