The West Kutai Resort Police (Polres) is committed to maintaining the physical readiness of its members in order to maximize service to the community. This routine agenda was attended by all ranks of personnel and Main Officers (PJU) of the West Kutai Police.
Led directly by the Chief of West Kutai Police, Police Grand Commissioner Adjutant Haris Kurniawan, S.I.K., M.I.K., the activity began with a joint gymnastics session which was enthusiastically attended. The atmosphere of togetherness was felt even more when the personnel, ranging from officers to non-commissioned officers, mingled in a healthy walk and a friendly volleyball match in the Police Headquarters area.
The Head of the Public Relations Section (Kasi Humas) of the West Kutai Police, Police Inspector First Class Sukoco, representing the Police Chief, explained that physical training like this is very crucial for members of the Indonesian National Police (Polri). With prime stamina, the personnel are expected to carry out policing duties and serve the community of West Kutai professionally and optimally.
Police Inspector First Class Sukoco added that in addition to maintaining physical health, this activity also serves as a means of relaxation amidst busy official duties. This joint exercise provides space to strengthen family relationships, build team compactness, and reinforce internal synergy between functional units.
