PT Petrindo Jaya Kreasi Tbk (CUAN) has officially announced a strategic move to strengthen its maritime logistics business line through an affiliated transaction in its subsidiary, PT Armada Maritim Persada (AMP). According to an information disclosure released in Jakarta, the company signed a conditional share subscription agreement on June 30, 2026.
Under the terms of the agreement, PT Chandra Shipping International (CSI) enters as an investor with a capital participation value of USD 90 million. The investment is carried out through the subscription of new shares issued by PT AMP, with the payment value converted into Rupiah based on the prevailing Bank Indonesia middle rate.
Once all transaction requirements are met, PT CSI will hold a 40 percent ownership stake in PT AMP. Despite the entry of the new investor, management ensures that PT Petrindo Jaya Kreasi Tbk remains the controlling shareholder. This affiliation arises because both entities are under the control of the same ultimate beneficial owner, namely the businessman Prajogo Pangestu.
The Company's management stated that the capital injection aims to fund operational development and expand the business scope of PT AMP in the domestic sea transportation sector. This step is expected to improve the overall logistics competitiveness of the group, while providing significant economic value-add for shareholders in the long term.
